Last updated: May 5, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using andreanagomediation.com or booking services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or engage our services.

2. Services Offered

Andrea Nago Mediation Services provides private mediation services and paralegal research services as described on this website. We serve clients in California, Florida, Puerto Rico, Texas, and Washington.

3. Not Legal Advice

Andrea Nago is a mediator and, at the time of this posting, a Juris Doctor candidate. Mediation services are not a substitute for legal representation, and nothing on this website constitutes legal advice or creates an attorney-client relationship. You are encouraged to consult independent counsel before entering any binding agreement.

Paralegal research services are provided under the supervision of the engaging attorney or law firm and do not constitute legal advice to any end client.

4. Fees & Payment

  • Mediation: $250 per hour.
  • A non-refundable $250 deposit is required to secure your appointment.
  • The deposit is applied toward your final balance.
  • Any additional time beyond the scheduled session will be added to the total bill at the same hourly rate.
  • Paralegal research: $75 per hour, billed by engagement.
  • Payment terms for specific engagements will be outlined in a separate engagement letter.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Appointments canceled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance will not incur additional charges beyond the non-refundable deposit. Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled session may forfeit the deposit.

6. Confidentiality

Communications during mediation are treated as confidential in accordance with applicable state law governing mediation privilege. Exceptions apply where disclosure is required by law (for example, reports of child abuse, threats of harm, or court orders).

7. Conduct During Mediation

All participants are expected to engage in good faith and treat one another with respect. The mediator reserves the right to suspend or terminate a session if conduct prevents productive discussion.

8. No Guarantee of Outcome

Mediation is a voluntary process. While we strive to help parties reach fair, lasting agreements, no specific outcome is guaranteed.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Andrea Nago Mediation Services is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or services. Total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid for the engagement giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes indicates acceptance.
